Once you receive Botox for the first time, you’ll need to come in for additional injections every 3 to 4 months to maintain your results. If you want to go longer without returning to our practice, you may be able to receive dermal fillers in addition to Botox depending on what you want to treat. These injections help restore lost volume for added fullness and smoothness.
After your appointment, stay upright for at least 4 hours. Within the first 24 hours, do not perform any physical activity that would cause sweating. You should also avoid touching or rubbing the treatment area.
Try not to compress the treatment area. This includes receiving massages or facials. If you received forehead injections, do not wear hats for a few days after your treatment.
