Dr. James McDonald

I’m Dr. McDonald, and I’m passionate about building strong relationships with my patients, where open communication can thrive. I focus on identifying and addressing each patient’s unique healthcare needs. I became a DPC physician to build and foster my trusted personal relationships where honest communication occurs to identify and inform with all healthcare needs. My philosophy is to guide patients through vast amounts of medical information to find the best and most appropriate option for their healthcare goals.

I’m a Family Medicine physician with thirty-two years of clinical experience. My work experience includes inpatient hospital care, practice administration, medical and nursing student proctoring, independent medical evaluations, and disability ratings.

My medical degree is from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. After graduating, I completed my internal medicine and pediatrics residency at the University of Missouri Kansas City.

I enjoy guiding individuals motivated to maintain good health. In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, gardening, and spending time with my family at my ranch. I’m an animal lover with dogs, cats, horses, and chickens!
